Accessibility statement

We want this site to be usable with a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification or a phone in one hand on a loading bay. Here is what we have done and what we know is imperfect.

Guidance checked 10 September 2026.

What we have done

  • Semantic headings in order, with one first-level heading per page.
  • A skip link to the main content as the first focusable element.
  • Visible keyboard focus, and navigation operable without a mouse.
  • Form fields with real labels, error messages tied to the field they describe, and a clear submitted state with a reference number.
  • Descriptive alternative text on photographs, and a text equivalent alongside the pallet diagram rather than relying on the drawing alone.
  • Data tables with proper header cells and captions, so specification figures read sensibly in a screen reader.
  • Mobile-first layout that reflows to narrow screens and to zoomed text.
  • Colour used with text, never alone, to convey meaning — status categories in the pallet checker are always written out.

Known limitations

  • The site has not yet been through a formal WCAG 2.2 AA audit or testing with assistive-technology users, so we make no conformance claim.
  • The pallet diagram is a schematic drawing. Its figures are repeated as text on the specification page, but a diagram is inherently visual.
  • Long guidance pages are text-heavy. We have kept measure narrow and headings frequent, but they still take reading.

Tell us about a barrier

If something here is difficult or impossible to use, please email enquiries@europeanpallets.co.uk and describe what you were trying to do and what got in the way. We will fix what we can and tell you honestly where a fix will take longer.

Another way to reach us

If the enquiry form is not usable for you, email us with the quantity, pallet type, postcode and date, and we will treat it exactly as we would a form submission.
