South Coast

Euro pallets across the South Coast

Dorset, Sussex and Surrey are a different logistics problem from a port city: longer runs, smaller drops, more seasonal peaks, and sites where a full artic is genuinely awkward to receive.

Distance changes the sensible answer

Along the coast and inland into Surrey, the pallet decision is often driven by drop economics rather than by the pallet itself. A single scheduled delivery of a worthwhile quantity almost always beats repeated small runs, so we tend to talk about consolidating requirements and booking a slot rather than chasing urgency.

Seasonality is the other local reality. Horticulture, food production, drinks and coastal tourism supply chains all peak sharply, and buying a full year's pallets at the peak is expensive. Planning volume ahead of the season, with deliveries scheduled against it, is usually the cheaper route.

Access and equipment

Plenty of sites between Poole and Brighton have restricted access, no loading dock, or a forklift with limited reach. That is worth saying in the enquiry: it changes vehicle choice and, occasionally, whether a delivery is workable at all. We would rather establish it early than send something that cannot be unloaded.

Collections

We consider collection enquiries from 10 pallets upwards, which suits sites accumulating incoming Euro-format pallets they have no use for. Tell us the footprint, the approximate condition and how many are accumulating each month.

Choosing the right option

For one-way despatch, unbranded Euro-format is usually the honest answer. For a closed loop or washdown environment, look at plastic. For customer specifications that call for pool pallets, EPAL 1 — and read EPAL or Euro-format? before signing an order that mentions EPAL.

Coverage, stated carefully

We work from Southampton and generally serve areas reachable in about two hours. Parts of Dorset, Sussex and Surrey sit comfortably within that; others are better handled as scheduled or bulk work. We will tell you which yours is before you commit, in writing, rather than promising blanket coverage.

Scheduled beats urgent

Same-day is possible before 10am where a route is serviceable and confirmed, but on longer coastal runs a booked slot is normally cheaper and more reliable.

Sales minimum

Pallet sales start at 100 pallets per order.

Availability, routes and lead times are confirmed in writing on each quotation. Nothing here is a guaranteed service level, and we do not claim coverage of any area we have not confirmed for your consignment.

Give us an email address or a telephone number — either is fine.

Outward code alone is fine at this stage.
