Privacy notice
This notice explains what we collect when you use this website, why, and what happens to it.

What we collect
When you send an enquiry or complete the pallet checker, we collect the information you type: your name, company, email address, telephone number, postcode, whether you need delivery or collection, route, pallet type, condition, material, quantity, the date you need the pallets, your notes, your consent to be contacted, any pallet checker answers and the resulting cautious category, and any photographs you choose to attach.
We also store a technical fingerprint derived from request headers. It is used only to rate-limit submissions and reduce automated abuse.
Why we collect it
To answer your enquiry, prepare a written quotation and keep a record of what was asked and what was offered. We do not use enquiry details for unrelated marketing, and we do not sell or share them for advertising.
Photographs
Photographs you attach are held in private storage with restricted access. They are not published, are not listed publicly, and are not accessible from a public address. They are used only to help identify a pallet or marking in connection with your enquiry.
How enquiries are stored
Enquiries are written to our own records first and given a reference beginning EP- before anything else happens, so nothing is lost if a later step fails. The records are not readable by the public: the website can add an enquiry but cannot read enquiries back. Your details are not passed to any third-party marketing system.
How long we keep it
Enquiry records and attached photographs are kept only as long as needed to deal with the enquiry and to retain a reasonable commercial record of it, then deleted. You can ask us to delete your enquiry sooner.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you may ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. Write to enquiries@europeanpallets.co.uk and we will respond within the statutory period. If you are unhappy with our response you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Analytics and cookies
No analytics or advertising trackers are loaded on this website, so no visitor profiling data is collected. See our cookies page for detail.
Changes
We will update this notice if what we collect or how we use it changes, and the date above will change with it.
