Answer what you can see, and the checker returns a careful reading of it: likely Euro-format, marking needs checking, or route needs a freight or plant-health check. It will never tell you a consignment is compliant.
Before you start
Have the pallet in front of you, with a tape measure, and enough light to read the centre block. Eight short questions, no account needed, and nothing is saved unless you choose to send it to us at the end.
- Measure the deck rather than trusting the label on the load.
- Photograph all four corner blocks and the centre block.
- Note the route: rules follow the movement, not the brand.
This is a triage tool, not a compliance check
It returns cautious categories such as “likely Euro-format” or “marking needs checking”. It never certifies compliance, and it is no substitute for the checks your freight forwarder or the relevant authority carries out.
What this tool is not
It is not a compliance decision, a certificate, an inspection or advice. It cannot see your pallet, it relies entirely on what you tell it, and it is deliberately cautious where evidence is thin.
Border and plant-health questions must be settled with your freight forwarder or a plant-health professional, against current GOV.UK guidance.
